A romantic night under the stars!!!!!
This workshop is to learn about cameras, astronomy, and each other.
Everything you will need is supplied; a camera, wide-angle lens, and a tripod to use is supplied for your romantic night, plus, a storage card that you take home with your star-filled images.  Note:  This is a workshop for those who are interested in DSLR digital cameras, looking to buy a camera, or photography of the night sky.  There are no telescopes involved, but there are informative conversations about astronomy and a lot of fun with your Sweetie.

Maps:  Do not use Google or other maps apps (they will get you lost)!  Use these Maps.

Tickets:  Our online system will not process a ticket request if the number of tickets available is less than the number you are requesting.   If filled, please try another date.
Note:  Please make sure to provide us with your cell phone number when entering your contact information during the ticket purchase process.  Your purchase serves as your reservation.  Your name will automatically appear on the Will Call List, which your program guide will have.

If you have a problem making a purchase or with using an international credit cards - Please contact the office at 480.221.9738 or ASO@Apache-Sitgreaves.org for assistance.

Clothing:   PLEASE dress appropriately (bring a winter coat, hats and gloves)!  When we are sitting and looking up at the sky we feel the ambient outside temperature and although it is warm in Phoenix, it will be substantially colder (20-25 degrees) after the sun sets in Overgaard which is at an elevation of just under 7000 ft.  Do your best to bring warm clothing;  your experience will be enhanced when you are dressed appropriately.  It is better to be prepared than cold!
